These four lines entwined in Montreal in the 1970’s when a Holden married a Wilson. The Wilsons were relative newcomers to Canada, arriving in Montreal in 1952 from their strong Scottish roots. Holdens came from Ireland 130 years earlier, settling in the area of Markham, Ontario. Both Wason and Wilson were Glaswegian. Cudworth originated in Yorkshire, immigrating to Ontario in the early 20th century to the halcyon years of steam railroading.
